“嘛” と “吗”。
“吗” は疑問・質問の際、文末に使われるので小雪も知っていますが、
“嘛”はよくわかりません。
そこで、調べてみました。
すると、主に次の用法があると知りました。
１．これが事実だ，または，本来こうあるべきだという感情・気分を表す。
⇒ 事実の念押し、 現実を否定し，本来当然こうあるべきだ．
２．働きかけ（すすめや阻止）を表す。
３．文中の切れ目に用い，聞き手の注意を促す。
⇒ 主語を強調、仮定条件を表す文末に．
同じ “ma” でもずいぶん機能が違いますね。
ああ、こう言う日常語が自由に使えるようになるといいな。

Particle “嘛 ma” was newly added in GRAMMAR Vol..
“嘛 ma” shows :
1. The feeling or a mood : this is the fact, or , it should be thus primarily.
⇒making sure ; denying actuality and it should be thus primarily.
2. Making approaches (recommendation or prevention).
3. It's used in an end of sentences and listener's attention is called.
⇒ a subject is emphasized and in the end of sentence where a subjunctive condition is expressed.
